A FRESH TAKE ON DOGGY DINNERS
Jinx is a dog wellness brand serving balanced nutrition in every bite of its premium kibble, toppers and treats. When this previously direct-to-consumer brand started landing opportunities with large US retailers, they came to Equator to optimise their packaging for the in-store environment.
Capturing canine charisma
Jinx’ existing packaging featured charming images of dogs, which consumers loved. To amplify this element, we cast a different breed for each kibble flavour, and captured the photography in-house, where we also styled ingredients to create on-pack images with appetite appeal.
Drawing on years of pet photography experience, our team adeptly managed the shoot’s logistical challenges and worked closely with the handlers on set to capture each dog’s unique personality, ensuring their comfort and wellbeing throughout.
A really great shoot to work on, 6 days, 15 dogs, 10 handlers, bag after bag of tasty treats & lots of fun!! It was all about scouting the right dogs initially & engaging them in short bursts on-set to capture their unique characters. Each furry friend was carefully scheduled separately to make sure their playful interactions were all focussed on set at just the right time. Our awesome food stylists helped bring the bowl nutrition into focus, showcasing the high quality ingredients – all in all a great result!
