Jamshed Mulled Wine
Ingredients
- 750 ml red wine
- 50 g sugar
- 2 clementines, sliced.
- 1 lemon, sliced.
- 4 cloves
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 2 star anise
- 5-6 cardamom pods
- 1 vanilla pod
Method
- In a large saucepan, combine the red wine and sugar. Stir over a medium heat until the sugar dissolves.
- Add the clementine and lemon slices, cloves, cinnamon sticks, star anise, cardamom, and vanilla.
- Heat gently for about 15-20 minutes, allowing the flavours to develop.
- Serve hot, ladled into large glasses, and enjoy!
