Jamshed Mulled Wine

Ingredients
  • 750 ml red wine
  • 50 g sugar
  • 2 clementines, sliced.
  • 1 lemon, sliced.
  • 4 cloves
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 2 star anise
  • 5-6 cardamom pods
  • 1 vanilla pod
Method
  1. In a large saucepan, combine the red wine and sugar. Stir over a medium heat until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Add the clementine and lemon slices, cloves, cinnamon sticks, star anise, cardamom, and vanilla.
  3. Heat gently for about 15-20 minutes, allowing the flavours to develop.
  4. Serve hot, ladled into large glasses, and enjoy!
